The position is accountable for four institutional functions: (1) supervision of the unit's permanent and temporary staff and the workplans, standards, and training that govern their work; (2) all procurement reporting produced by the University, including statutory and regulatory submissions to the Office of Small, Minority, and Women Business Affairs (OSBA), the Department of General Services, the University's Board of Regents, the Board of Public Works (BPW), and the Maryland General Assembly, as well as internal spend and utilization reporting for Division leadership; (3) the BPW submission process from agenda planning through post-approval tracking; and (4) revising, maintaining, and disseminating all procurement policies and procedures for the Office of Procurement and Property Control.
