Job Summary
The Program Administrative Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness, quality, and continuous improvement of programs within the Department of Nutritional Science. This position involves leveraging data to fulfill the reporting requirements of our external accrediting body, inform strategic decision-making, enhance student success, and drive continuous improvement. It ensures that programs are not only effective in educating a cadre of health professionals but also meet the highest standards of academic excellence and accountability.
Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintaining student documentation and advisement records;
- Serve as a liaison between the program and the Dean's office, providing moderately complex administrative support to the Program Director
- Respond to program inquiries
- Other duties as assigned.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree, including relevant coursework in nutrition and health
Other Preferences for Consideration
Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and dietetics or related field preferred.
