Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Intern to support our recruiting team for a minimum of 8 weeks. This internship provides hands-on experience in recruitment and candidate engagement. The intern will assist in ensuring a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
The Intern may perform any of the following duties:
• Assist with candidate communication, including scheduling interviews and sending status updates
• Support job posting activities across job boards and applicant tracking systems
• Help coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
• Provide administrative support such as organizing candidate records and tracking recruitment activity
• Assist with drafting offer letters
• Help gather candidate feedback and support basic reporting on candidate experience metrics
• Support employer branding efforts, including social media and career page updates
Learning Opportunities:
• Exposure to full-cycle recruiting processes
• Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and HR tools
• Development of professional communication and organizational skills
• Insight into government contracting and staffing environments
Qualifications:
• First consideration will be given to individuals who have successfully completed FM Talent's Stepping Stones workforce readiness program.
• Strong interest in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred (Not Required):
• Previous internship, coursework, or campus involvement related to HR or recruiting
• Familiarity with LinkedIn or job boards
