Movement Labs and Contest Every Race is building a distributed program of volunteer captains across hundreds of battleground and rural counties nationwide.

We are currently looking for Training Associates that will independently lead virtual captain trainings between now and Election Day, ensuring volunteers leave feeling confident, prepared, and excited to engage with a small universe of voters in their community and make repeated contact to their list ahead of the 2026 election.

We're prioritizing strong facilitators over traditional campaign résumés. Prior campaign experience is welcome but not required. We're especially interested in candidates who are charismatic presenters, strong trainers, comfortable adapting on the fly, and available for a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Experience working or organizing in rural communities is a plus.

Requirements

• Outgoing, charismatic, and comfortable presenting to a virtual audience
• Experience in theater, podcasting, teaching, customer service, food service, or similar performance/people-facing work
• Time-flexible and reliable, able to commit to a varied training schedule including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Experience facilitating on virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
• Adaptable and proactive, comfortable adjusting on the fly
• Genuine enjoyment of teaching, coaching, or public speaking
• Volunteer management  or prior organizing experience (not necessarily in campaigns) is a plus but not required
• Rural community experience or familiarity is a plus, but not required
